After the Storm
A collaborative mixed media work created alongside artist/printmaker Kathy Boyle and poet Erice Fairbrother. After the Storm takes the form of a deconstructed book, with ‘pages’ of layers of print, text and image sewn side by side in a grid formation. The work is constructed partly from detritus gathered on Napier’s beach after a large storm, July 2019.
MEDIA: Monoprint, sublimination print, screen print, encaustic, stitch on found paper, plastic, canvas and wire mesh.
