Term 2 - Intro to Linocut
Introductory evening classes held at Creative Arts Napier.
6-8pm, Thursdays
11 June - 2 July 2026 (4 weeks)
This is a series of 4 weekly evening classes where you will discover the wide variety of options Linocut offers. This course is ideal for absolute beginners or students who have previously tried some printmaking with lino.
Guided by experienced tutor and practicing printmaker Lisa Feyen from Ink Moth Print Studio, you will work on lino blocks to produce a limited edition of fine art prints in a range of colours. During the four-week course you will explore a range of techniques for adding and playing with colour, including collaged backgrounds and rainbow rolls.
After completing Term 2, you will be offered the opportunity to progress to term 4 classes, learning how to print in layers of colour using either the multi-block or reduction technique.
